Bag Parade

Some of my favorite bags are about to leave the house, with your help of course. But this is perfect, because you'll be breathing life into these faded fashion flowers.

Bag 1 - Used once to party at Heineken Thirst. But now that I'm a mommy and parties are days of a bygone era, she needs a new owner who'll take her out.

Bag 2 - Used twice, back in the days before my corporate career took over my fashion direction. Got this in Bali from a local brand Pura Vida. Loove her face!

Bag 3 - Never used! Got this bag in Bali a few years back from a local brand named Magg. Everything in the store was tactile and girly. This bag captured my attention because of her frills, her sexy black frills. Reminds me of a Go Go dancer. A mysterious Go Go dancer.

Bag 4 - Never used! Original price tag is still in tact. Got this bag on a whimsy, while dreaming of a beach getaway with my then boyfriend, now husband. The vacation never happened and so this lovely bag never saw light again. And now with a baby in tow the beach getaway remains a dream, but this gorgeous bag shouldn't have to wait that long to feel sunshine on her body.

Bag 5 - Seldom used, maybe three times since it was bought in 2008 in Singapore at Robinsons, Raffles City. I really, really like the color of this bag. The only problem is I couldn't find shoes or sandals to match. Sighhhh....

Bag 6 - Used twice in 2008 to carry documents and my 19" Mac for out-of-town business trips. Then I switched to a 14" laptop, so the bag went into hibernation. Bring it out of it's slumber, please! This bag is such a statement laptop bag.

Bag 7 - Used for a week in 2010 and then I got bored. I was pregnant then, which probably had something to do with my mood. She's a hard worker this one. I imagine she would go a loong way on someone else's shoulder. Neutral color, great make, lots of space, and elegant.

The first being authenticity. I promise you, these bags are authentic. I don't spend my money on knock-offs. Call me a snob or whatever, but I respect people's intellectual property rights. If I can't afford them, I don't buy them full stop!

You'll probably see the brands I'll post here are 2nd tier. It's not the likes of Gucci or Balenciaga or Chanel. That's because only recently am I able to buy these high street brands and no way am I letting go of these treasures!
