To Begin With...

My favorite colors are cyan and pink, but you'll find that I'm mostly in black. Black dress, black belt, black shoes, black bag, black mascara, black undies.... Isn't that odd, considering almost everything in my closet are in my favorite colors? But such is style. And mine is boring.

Although I have two rooms filled to the brim with my clothes, shoes, bags, belts, jewelry, lingerie, make-up, perfume and lotion, I seem to always run out of ideas as to what to wear. And so, I'm determined my style is boring.

But if you see my wardrobe, you'll agree with me, I've got great pieces. This is the irony of being a fashion victim (borderline fashion hoarder). Too many clothes, shoes, bags, etc., but still nothing to wear!

Combined with the fact that I recently went through a major body change (motherhood), all these great clothes, shoes and bags are gone to waste! The pieces in my wardrobe need to be seen, they long for attention, but most of all they yearn to be loved!

And so, tonight as I went through my closet to figure out what to wear to the office tomorrow, I braved myself against the reality that my clothes, shoes and bags need a new home.

A new owner who would be able to show them off to the world. A new owner who would care for them better than me. A new owner who would enjoy wearing them as they were designed to do. These pieces were made for wear and by keeping them in my wardrobe, I am robbing them of their purpose.

Would you help me liberate them please?

Each of the pieces I will reveal here were carefully selected, were chosen for an outstanding, unique quality, and were brought home with an eagerness to one day be worn with pride. Some pieces were meant to make me stand out in a crowd, others to blend in with the fashionable masses.

I will also throw into the mix pieces that make me wonder how they got into my closet to begin with.

Haven't you ever had one of those shopping sprees that lead you to buying nonsense? I have one too many of those sessions! The result: the stuff I come home with, I never wear. But nonetheless, they add to my growing collection of fashionable wear.

All of my clothes, shoes and bags have a story that comes with. I probably remember most of their stories and, so, I will share these too.

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy my every reveal. And perhaps you'll find that my trash is your treasure.
